Wherever we end up having the reunion, I'm going to look into hiring a photographer to do family pictures for our family while we're there, since it will be in a pretty location on a beach (probably) and I can't take a good picture of our family and be in front of the camera too! So I was thinking, perhaps others of you might be interested in this as well. I thought I'd throw out the idea, as well as links to several photographers in the Outer Banks area that I found (if that's where the current destination might be?) so you can see what I'm thinking. Since I do this all the time, I'm pretty particular about what I want in a photographer! But these three places are possibilities - not perfect, but possible. Anyway, feel free to post your thoughts or other ideas as comments to this post - just to keep things organized.

Maybe when we get a place rented we will have to see which is closer to where we will be. That may be a deciding factor.

Great idea! Of course we wouldn't expect anything less! I am getting so excited that I keep forgetting that it is a whole 'nother year away!
I was looking at the family pictures in the last web-site. They have a family picture for about the past 10 years of the same family. One of the things that I think that helped these pictures turn out so nicely and in the other group photos, is that the clothes that everyone is wearing is coordinated. So maybe we need to be sure that everyone brings certain items so that we can get the same effect.
